Community Involvement

At Roth Home, we’re more than just a leading plumbing, HVAC and electrical company serving the Portland metro area—we’re also a company composed of members of our local communities. We make it our mission to give back to the people who support our business by supporting programs that fulfill their needs. Whether it’s helping those who are less fortunate, assisting with community outreach programs, or even creating opportunities for those looking for a direction in their life, we’re proud to give back to our community however we can.

Some of our community involvement initiatives include:

• Participating in the Habitat for Humanity Builder Blitz
• Donating our collective time and money to Habitat for Humanity, even in times of economic hardship
• The Oldest Furnace Contest, in which we replaced a furnace from 1947 with a newer, far more efficient model at no cost to the homeowner
• “Heating up Fall” Sweepstakes, in which more than 80 people won prizes valued at over $2,500 total
• 35 Days of Prizes, in honor of our 35th Anniversary
• Heat Up the Winter contest, in which one family received a new furnace and AC united from Lennox, installed for free
• Sponsoring a new weather station and HD camera at Lake Oswego High School
• Participating in the Portland Community College Job Fair
• KOIN Spring Home Refresh Program
• Delivering care packages to soldiers
• Donating to various non-profit organizations, including the Oregon National Guard Emergency Relief Fund
• Supporting Special Operations Warrior Foundation
• Support for Canby Kiwanis
• Sponsorship of the Relay for Life of Canby, 2010, 2011, and 2012
• Founding the Roth Scholarship
• Participating in the North Marion College Career Fair
• Supporting the Canby Rodeo
• Donating to various local schools
• Contributing to the Canby High School Graduation All Night Party
• Donating to Canby Public Library
• Supporting the 2013 Clackamas Youth Career Expo
• Supporting the Rotary Club of Wilsonville’s 2014 First Citizen Recognition Banquet and Heart of Gold Auction
• Support for employee participation in the National Guard and Reserve
• Hosting a Mock Interview for Canby High School Students
• Acting as a donation barrel site for the annual Kiwanis Canby Community Food and Toy Drive
• Sponsoring the 5th Annual Ladies Who Brunch fashion event at Bridgeport Village in support of breast cancer patients at Legacy Meridian Park Medical Center

THE ROTH Home SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Here at Roth Home Scholarship, we are extremely proud of our scholarship program that helps those in need get the education they deserve. To date, more than 23 local high school students have received scholarships through the program, totaling $76,296 in tuition fees paid thus far. Through this initiative, we’ve helped students from all around the greater Portland area attend college, where they’ve majored in everything from engineering to science to business, forestry, public health, and more.
